Exceptional trading and investing education. www.tradingacademy.com/stamford

Paul Orme Equities, ProActive Investor and Personal Trading Plan Instructor Paul Orme has been involved in the financial markets since 1978 as an investor and since 2000 as a trader. His emphasis is trading in equities, futures, and options.

He began his career as a consultant with McKinsey & Company and ultimately worked for Citibank in financial services, and Knight Ridder in developing online services. As an executive in software firms supporting hedge funds, investment advisors, banks and insurance companies, he learned how professionals approach the market and develop their edge. He is passionate about training each student to think as a professional trader and to develop a unique trading approach which is geared to their own style and personality. Paul believes that Online Trading Academy provides the premier experience for developing trading skills and confidence. Having taken numerous courses in stocks, options and futures, he is convinced that the real online trading experience - trading real money under the direction of an instructor - is an excellent way to hone repeatable, prudent trading skills. His goal is for his students to develop the discipline and confidence to be successful.

The four distinct aspects critical to becoming a consistent trader are the cornerstones of Paul's teaching approach: 1) psychology, 2) technical analysis, 3) trading platform proficiency, and 4) dealing with probability. Paul stresses the need to explore the psychological factors that can make or break a trader and that one must understand and think in terms of probability and risk containment.

Paul has also lived and worked in London, England, Hamburg, Germany and Tokyo, Japan. During the course of his time in England, he held executive management responsibilities for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa where he was responsible for revenue growth and profitability in over 20 countries. These experiences add another dimension to his understanding and desire to assist others in their quest for knowledge and success in the financial markets.
